Dwelling 1:14 helps people join Jesus on His mission as everyday missionaries. We come alongside congregational leaders to help them answer three questions: 1) What is the mission of God according to God? 2) What does it look like for our people to participate in accomplishing His mission as a daily lifestyle? 3) How can our church consistently prepare our people for this lifestyle? The Dwelling 1:14 training process has three steps. 1) We help you prepare your congregation for missional training with the book, "Joining Jesus on His Mission." People are inspired, motivated, and ready. 2) We come to your congregation for a "Joining Jesus Training Weekend," and equip your people with clarity and a personal plan for living as everyday missionaries. 3) We then provide ongoing encouragement and coaching via monthly Navigation Zooms as people implement their plans in daily life. Dwelling 1:14 also offers Clarity Retreats for congregational leaders. The retreat results in leaders having clarity and a plan for how to implement a missional discipleship process in the congregation.

Evangelist Training Ministry

The Evangelist Training Ministry equips everyday Christians to share the Gospel and form faith communities in everyday places. Using the biblical pattern of Jesus meeting people at the well (John 4), the training helps participants recognize the "wells" in their own lives where Christ is already at work and to engage others relationally there. The process is intentional and confessionally Lutheran, grounded in Holy Scripture and the Small Catechism, forming Christians to speak the Gospel clearly, care for people faithfully, and connect them to the life of the Church through Word and Sacrament. The focus is not on programs, but on participating in what God is already doing as He creates and sustains faith through His Word. Although the ministry originates in the Texas District, it is open to everyone.
